House Sitting Websites succeed beautifully in connecting home owners and house sitters, whether around the corner or on the other side of the globe.  But for every good house sitting website there are probably five full of information that’s inaccurate, out of date, or worse….

I have been House Sitting Australia full-time since March 2011.  Over the past six years I’ve cared for & maintained more than fifty homes (potted plants, lawns, gardens, hedges, edges, pools) and come to know (and love) hundreds of companion animals.  Together with my house sitting buddy we’ve saved tens of thousands of Aussie dollars by living rent & mortgage free in Sydney – a city where house prices now rank as the second least affordable in the world, beaten only by Hong Kong.
